Pupils will normally be admitted on the basis of a satisfactory performance in the School Levelling Entrance Examination.

All candidates to the College will sit for tests in Spanish and English Language and Mathematics.

Entry to ES 5 will depend on the candidate obtaining good IGCSE, or equivalent examination results, his / her previous school’s recommendation and an interview with the Heads of College.

Entry to ES 6 will be possible if the candidate has completed the first year of the IB programme. Likewise, admission will depend on his / her previous school’s recommendation and an interview with the Heads of College.

The main requirements for entry are that the student will be capable of pursuing a rigorous academic programme, that the student will benefit from and contribute towards the sporting and cultural activities offered by the School, and that the student’s presence will enrich the atmosphere of the School.

Our Secondary school has the privilege to offer a national programme of education fully integrated with the international curricula (PYP, IGCSE and IB Diploma. Our Special Bilingual Integrated Plan enables all students to obtain the “Spanish-English Bilingual Bachelor degree, Arts & Literature oriented, with Curricular Options in Humanities; Sciences; Creative Arts; Sports and Economics” The programme and syllabus are fully bilingual and every student has to take the both the National and International Baccalaureate at the same time.

It will be expected that candidates taking subjects at IB level will normally have studied them at IGCSE and obtained a satisfactory grade. However failure to do this does not automatically exclude any student from entering the full IB diploma programme. A good performance in the IB Diploma examination has international credibility and acceptability amongst the private national and international universities.
